Photographer Puts GoPro on DSLR to Show What It's Like to Shoot Football (VIDEO)

If you’re new to shooting sports – or even if you’re not – and you want to get a sense of what it’s like to shoot a game, the cool POV video at the bottom of this post is a great place to start.

In the clip, YouTube user zabreklz puts a GoPro camera on top of his DSLR to show you what the experience is like to shoot a college football game.

It’s not clear what camera is being used but the lens is a Tamron 70-300mm. The photographer explained some of the settings he used in a posting on Reddit.

“[T]he lighting conditions were terrible, so I shot in manual. It was dark clouds for 10 minutes and then bright direct sunlight for another 10 the whole entire game :( . For the most part I hovered around 1/1000 or 1/1600 and kept it on the widest aperture possible. I had auto ISO on and set the limiter to 3200. for the most part the ISO never got above 1200 which was nice.”

The most satisfying part of this video to us is the instantly recognizable sound of the “click” as he presses the shutter for each shot. Gotta love it!
