Nature Photographer Sam Forencich Created This Stunning Time-Lapse Video with Infrared Cameras

Time-lapse videos are all the rage these days, and infrared photography is becoming more and more popular too. But when’s the last time you watched a time-lapse created with infrared-converted DSLRs?

If your answer is “never,” take a look at the video below.

Sam Forencich is a Portland-based photographer specializing in time-lapse videos, and he calls this project “Invisible Oregon.” Explaining his fascination with infrared photography, Forencich says, “Ever since my youthful days of experimentation I’ve often wondered about the nature of reality.” In this time-lapse of the Oregon coast, Forencich renders the beautiful landscape from light we can’t see with our own eyes.

You can find more from Forencich on his website. Don’t miss our recent article in which a pro shares his tips for making time-lapse videos of your own, as well as another story about a photographer who creates otherworldly infrared cityscape and landscape photos.
