Learn How to Paint With Light & Create Dramatic “Light Drawings” with Your Camera (VIDEO)
Brian Hart considers himself a “light artist” who uses a camera and a light source as his pen and paper. The following video is an informal tutorial that will guide you toward creating some dynamic light drawings of your own.
Hart’s final images come straight out of the camera, with no Photoshop work or other post-processing. He says his technique is a finicky one, because he works in total darkness and can’t see where he’s drawn.
He says the idea is to work methodically and “hope you end up with something good." After watching the video, you can see more of Hart's work on his website.
