How to Shoot Gorgeous Portraits at the Beach (VIDEO)

Yes, summer is over, fall has arrived, and winter is coming but that doesn't mean we can't dream about going to the beach! In the below video, Bach Photography actually does that to share his tips on how to shoot gorgeous portraits at the beach.

"Today we're going to look at a start-to-finish photo shoot that I did at the beach," Bach says. "We're going to look at camera equipment, the lenses that I used, and some things you need to think about specifically when shooting at the beach. Then we're going to look at some of the photos and do some editing on them as well."

For the shoot, Bach uses a Sony A7R II camera and Sigma 35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.4 lenses.

"But for most of this photo shoot, I stuck with my 50mm f/1.4," he explains. "Some people say the 50mm is kind of a boring focal length, because it's somewhere between a wide angle and a telephoto. It's right in the middle at a normal kind of focal length similar to what you would see with your eye, but I think that's actually a good thing because it makes the photos like something you would see in real life."
