Epson Intros Smallest 13- & 17-Inch Pro Printers in Their Class

Epson, long known for innovative printing technology, has introduced the 13-inch SureColor P700 and 17-inch SureColor P900 professional desktop Photo printers. Featuring a sleek, compact design, the two new printers promise to deliver exhibition-quality prints and are the smallest in their class.

With a 30% reduction in size from previous models, the Epson P700 and P900 enhance productivity with dedicated channels for both Photo and Matt Black ink types, and use a new 10-channel printed head—eliminating the need for ink switching between projects.

Both new printers use Epson’s new UltraChrome Pro10 pigment ink with Violet, and are said to deliver an extremely wide color gamut. The Epson P700 and P900 printers also support an Advanced Black-and-White mode for professional quality results. The new models utilize an updated mobile version of Epson Print Layout software with full support and tools for iPhone and iPad printing.

The 13-inch P700 accommodates both roll and cut sheet media, and the 17-inch P900 accommodates cut sheet media and an optional enclosed roll media adapter for roll printing up to 10 ft. long.

The Epson SureColor P700 ($799) and SureColor P900 ($1,295) will be available through Epson dealers in May. You can find complete details on the Epson website.
