25 Easy Lightroom Tricks in Just 2 Minutes! (VIDEO)

Fasten your seatbelts, because this two-minute tutorial demonstrates 25 simple and very helpful Lightroom tricks in less than two minutes. In fact, you may want to jot down a few notes and watch the video twice.

Christopher Burress is a photographer who really knows his way around Lightroom, and in rapid-fire fashion he demonstrates a bunch of editing tips and tricks that he uses regularly to process images with a minimum of fuss. He even provides keyboard shortcuts for accessing the tools.

First on the list is what Burress calls “Survey View,” a handy trick that enables you to view large versions of more than two photos. If you only want to compare two images, he shows you how to do that too, while zooming in or moving them independently for convenient comparisons.

He also illustrates how to quickly adjust gradients and crop or rotate an image, and reveals a few tricks for using Lightroom’s Color Picker to manipulate HSL sliders. That’s just a taste of what you’ll find in this quick tutorial, which taught us a few helpful tricks that work really well.

There’s much more to see on Burress’ YouTube channel, and be sure to check out another Lightroom tutorial we posted, with seven simple ways to fix common photo mistakes.
