Meike Unveils Four Manual-Focus Lenses For Mirrorless Cameras

Flash and accessory manufacturer Meike has unveiled four new manual-focus lenses for Nikon, Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus and Panasonic mirrorless cameras with APS-C or smaller sensors. The new lenses are the first foray in this category for Meike, and are available on Amazon.

The most exotic of the bunch is a high-speed 25mm f/0.95 lens priced at $660.  Available in mounts for Sony E and Micro Four Thirds, this lens features 12 elements in 10 groups, a 55mm filter size and all-metal construction like the other three. As you can see, this isn’t a small lens—measuring almost four inches in length and weighing a hair over 19 oz.

The other three lenses are smaller and far less expensive, with the new 28mm f/2.8 carrying a price of $86 in mounts for Sony E, Fujifilm and Micro Four Thirds. Considerably more compact than the 25mm f/0.95, this lens measures just 1.14 inches and weighs a mere 3.6 oz. It features six elements in five groups and has a 49mm filter size.

The fast 35mm f/1.7 wide-angle is available for Fujifilm, Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Panasonic and Sony E, and is priced at $90. With six elements in five groups, this compact lens measures 1.6 inches and weighs only 6.2 oz. It accepts 49mm filters.

Finally, the 50mm f/2,0 is priced at $81 and utilizes six elements in five groups. With a 49mm filter size, this is another tiny lens—measuring 1.6 inches and weighing just over 6.3 oz.
