Tamron Co., Ltd. has introduced the 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III VC lens. The new high-power all-in-one zoom lens is designed for the Sony NEX (E-mount) series of interchangeable-lens, lightweight and compact digital cameras. The lens will begin shipping in the U.S. December 15, 2011.
Tamron has created a high-power all-in-one zoom lens that is compact and lightweight, featuring a 62mm filter and weighing only 16.2 oz., while at the same time delivering superlative image quality. This compact size lets users easily shoot across an extended range - from wide-angle to full telephoto - with just one lens. Converted to the coverage of the 35mm format, this is equivalent to a range of 27mm wide-angle up to 300mm full telephoto.
Rebels have always delivered good value wrapped up in a compact package and it’s why I personally own two—a Rebel XT and a Rebel XTi—both of them converted to infrared-only capture. The 18-megapixel EOS Rebel T3i is clearly an evolutionary model in the line, but owners of older Rebels should take a hard look at this new model because it clearly represents Canon’s new face as reflected in the previously released EOS 60D—the flip-out screen, in-camera filters, and all that jazz.

Profoto is proud to introduce the new Umbrella XL product line.
Available in three versions – white, silver and translucent – the new Profoto Umbrella XL features a diameter of 65” with a slightly parabolic shape that allows photographers to change the light distribution by simply sliding the umbrella shaft inside the flash head. In addition, the light spread can also be adjusted by moving the Zoom Reflector back or forth, creating an even more versatile look.
The Profoto Umbrella XL fits on all Profoto flash heads and monolights. It can also be mounted on Profoto’s Cine Reflector, and thereby can be used with the new line of continuous light sources – ProDaylight 800 Air and ProTungsten 1000 Air.
There is also an optional front diffuser available to soften the light and reduce the intensity by 1.5 f/stops, practically converting the white and silver models into a fully functioning Octabox. An optional stand adapter allows photographers to mount the umbrella on a light stand, or for use with other flash brands.

With a BosTail, you can permanently free up your
tripod attachment socket and possibly avoid serious
damage to your camera. BosTails can be used with
any sling style camera strap. BosTails include a slip lock and a nickel plated, metal
ring which is permanently attached to the BosTail.
BosTails can be adjusted from 2" to 4" to accommodate
different camera body heights and carrying
configurations.
A BosTail attaches to the left
side eyelet or left strap lug depending on the
camera body. On cameras that have eyelets
with triangular split rings, attach the BosTail to
the left side split ring. If your camera comes
equipped with a lug for its strap, simply remove
the camera strap and install the BosTail on the
left side lug. A BosTail never needs to be
removed from the camera body. Each camera
body should have its own BosTail.
